On the afternoon of September 2, Jiang Zengwei, President of the Global Alliance for Trade in Services (GATIS), met with Bruno Masier, President of the World Trade Point Federation (WTPF), during the China International Fair for Trade in Services 2023 (CIFTIS), to exchange views on further cooperation between the two organizations. Attending the meeting were Li Weiwei, Secretary-General of GATIS, and Antonio Castelló, Director of the Trade Point Region of Murcia in Spain, among others.

Jiang first expressed gratitude for the support given by the WTPF as an initiator of GATIS. He then introduced the current progress in the development of GATIS members, foreign activities, and work priorities. Jiang expressed the hope of enhancing communication and cooperation in expanding membership and advancing internationalization to promote shared growth. He looked forward to increased collaboration between the two organizations in the future, achieving mutual benefits and common development on a global scale.

Mr. Masier introduced the institutional structure of WTPF and shared relevant experiences in establishing its branches. He agreed with Jiang's views and proposed that the two sides establish an effective communication mechanism. He suggested that the cooperative approach should not be limited to cooperation between international organizations but should also build a platform for cooperation between enterprises.
